Terrie began a journey of discovery with her off-the-track-thoroughbred (ottb), Owen, that culminated in the development of The Trust Pathway. Creating a very deep bond with a horse really doesn't take years and years to develop, it can happen rather quickly. Using 'TTP' will make things safer for both the person and the horse, as it creates a trusting partnership. Partners tend to not want to cause harm to the other.

- Riding Lessons (See the Riding Lessons Page): Terrie has ridden and been around horses most of her life. The crazy about horses little girl just couldn't get enough of them. She now has more than 65 years experience in riding and working with horses in a few disciplines. In her riding teaching, she uses the classical training and teaching method which is based on the old ways of the Spanish Riding School (SRS) in Vienna, Austria, and is based in biomechanics and all about the well being of the horse. She will happily teach how to longe, general handling, etc as desired. Terrie has also helped many 'back to riding' adults overcome their fears of riding. Even though what she teaches is based in dressage and biomechanics it is the very foundation of riding, so whether you slap on a western saddle to hit the trails or a close contact to crest a 5 foot fence, a seat is a seat is a seat. Terrie happily shares what she knows and helps those that want to learn or just work through fear. A correct seat is a more secure and more effective seat. It allows the horse to move freely and willingly. Less is SO much more!
Eqiune Ergonomist
Terrie is also an Equine Ergonomist, which means she is trained in the fit of saddle to both horse and rider.
